  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the black cherries by pitting and chopping them. For the best flavor, make sure they are ripe and juicy.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. They should be well combined.
  • Whip the heavy whipping cream until firm peaks form in a separate mixing bowl. Be patient; this could take a few minutes.
  • Gently incorporate the whipped cream into the mixture of sweetened condensed milk. To keep the texture light and airy, do this gently.
  • A pinch of salt can be used to improve the flavor. It will balance the sweetness and enhance the cherry's authentic flavor.
  • Add the chopped black cherries now. It's better to have more cherries, so be generous!
  • Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container or a loaf pan.
  • To prevent ice crystals from forming, cover the container with plastic wrap or a lid. Make sure the ice cream is firm by freezing it for at least 4 hours.
