Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup cotton candy floss sugar (pink and blue)
  • ½ tsp. cotton candy flavoring or extract
  • pink and blue food coloring (gel or liquid)
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract (optional)
  • Cotton candy for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In separate bowls, place 1/4 cup of cotton candy floss and sugar in each bowl.
  • Add a few drops of pink food coloring to one bowl and a few drops of blue food coloring to the other. Mix until the sugar is evenly colored.
  • Prepare stiff peaks by whipping the heavy whipping cream in a large mixing bowl. Hand mixers and stand mixers can be used for this step.
  • Pour in the sweetened condensed milk gradually and whip until well combined.
  • Stir in the cotton candy flavoring or extract. This will give your ice cream that delightful cotton candy taste.
  • Divide the whipped cream mixture into two equal portions. Fold the pink cotton candy floss and sugar evenly into one portion.
  • Fold in the blue-colored cotton candy floss and sugar in the other portion.
  • Alternate layers of pink and blue ice cream in a freezer-safe container. To create a marbled effect, gently swirl them together with a spatula.
  • Cover the container with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours, or until the ice cream is firm.
  • Make cotton candy ice cream and scoop it into bowls or cones. For an extra whimsical touch, garnish with cotton candy.
