Ingredients
  

  • 1-1/2 pound Skinless, boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp. lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp.  smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Mix lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl. Combine everything well.
  • In a shallow dish or a plastic bag, place the chicken pieces.
  • Apply the marinade evenly to the chicken. Make sure that all the air is removed from the plastic bag before sealing it tightly.
  • Marinate the chicken overnight in the refrigerator for maximum flavor. To distribute the marinade evenly inside a plastic bag, massage it occasionally.
  • Prepare your grill, stovetop grill pan, or oven for cooking the chicken.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and let it drip off.
  • Chicken should be cooked through to 165°F (74°C). Cooking times may vary depending on the method you choose.
  • Before slicing the chicken, allow it to rest for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro over the chicken.
